A scorching heatwave is sweeping across Europe with records shattered throughout the continent. On Saturday, Spanish town El Granado set a new heat record for June with a scorching temperature of 46 degrees Celsius (114.8 degrees Fahrenheit). Authorities in many countries have issued health warnings as the Red Alert is issued in parts of Portugal, Italy, and Croatia. Additionally, numerous Amber Alerts cover areas of Spain, France, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Hungary, Serbia, Slovenia, and Switzerland.
