On this day 30 years ago, three gigantic Michael Jackson statues popped up in cities around the world, sending waves of mystery and excitement through MJ's fans. But where are these statues today? Did they disappear as quickly as they appeared?

The Statues' Locations

The three life-size statues were installed in New York City, London, and Tokyo. Each statue was a replica of the King of Pop's iconic Thriller music video pose, complete with a sparkling white glove and zombie face. The appearances of these statues were simultaneous and unexplained.

Where Are They Now?

Two of these statues have since been moved to MJ's estate at Neverland Ranch, while the third was purchased by an anonymous private collector. The statues are now nestled among the trees and pastures of Neverland, a haunting reminder of MJ's artistry and global impact.
