Hiroshima survivor stories were painful to draw
On August 6, 1945, the United States dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, followed by a second bomb on Nagasaki three days later. Shingo Naito was 6 years old when it happened. He has been sharing his story with a group of young Hiroshima students, helping them visualise the events of the day and turn them into art. He lost his father and two younger siblings in the aftermath of the explosion.
