Israel says it struck Tehran's Evin prison and Fordo access routes

Airstrikes come after Iranian military drone enters Israeli airspace

Israel has claimed responsibility for striking the Tehran headquarters of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps, as well as the Fordo nuclear facility. The attacks also targeted the Evin prison, which many dissidents and protesters are being held in. The facility is also believed to hold Iranian opposition activists as well as billions of dollars in covertly purchased missile technology. Iranian sources have confirmed the attacks but have not mentioned any casualties. The development comes after an Iranian military drone entered Israeli airspace yesterday, marking the first time in months that Iran has attempted to infiltrate Israeli borders. Israeli officials have not commented on whether the drone incident triggered the airstrikes.
