Pop star Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom have announced they are ending their relationship. The couple, who share a son together, confirmed the split in a coordinated social media statement.
"In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to separately, amicably part ways," the statement said. "We remain committed to supporting each other and co-parenting together. "
The couple began dating in 2016 and surprised fans in 2020 when they announced they had married and were expecting their first child together, a son named Daisy Dove. Bloom also has a daughter, Flynn, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
This is the second high-profile relationship for Perry, whose nine-year marriage to comedian Russell Brand ended in 2015.
