A shocking incident in the Seoul metro has left commuters terrified. CCTV footage from the platform shows a man dousing the train carriage in flammable liquid before setting it alight. The attack, which occurred on May 31st, injured six people with injuries ranging from smoke inhalation to sprained ankles as they fled the train.

Prosecutors investigate

The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office has released the footage and is investigating the attack. A 67-year-old suspect has been charged with attempted murder and arson.
