Watch: Holiday park wiped out by Texas floods
At Least 24 Killed in Flash Floods
A devastating flash flood in Texas has killed at least 24 people and a major search and rescue operation is underway. The Guadalupe River rose 26 feet (7.9 meters) in less than an hour, causing a sudden deluge that swept away homes and vehicles. Jason Allen of the BBC's US partner CBS reported from Kerrville, Texas, that the floodwaters tore through holiday cabins where people were spending the 4 July weekend.
