Dramatic CCTV footage shows the moment a pet lion escaped its confines and leapt over a concrete wall, startling onlookers as it went on to attack a woman and her two young children.
Owners arrested, victims stable
The woman and her two children, aged five and seven years old, sustained injuries to their arms and faces but are in stable condition, according to authorities.
Police in Pakistan have since arrested the owners of the big cat, which chased the woman down as terrified onlookers ran for cover.
