Woman in viral Coldplay concert clip resigns from executive role
A female executive who was filmed screaming and dancing during a Coldplay concert has resigned from her role after the video went viral.
The unidentified woman was an executive at the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA), a trade association for financial planners in Australia. She was filmed dancing and singing along to Coldplay's 2003 hit "Clocks" at the band's concert at Sydney's ANZ Stadium on Saturday. The association's chief executive, Dante De Gori, stated that the association had launched an investigation and that the woman had resigned from her position.
"We have been made aware of the video circulating on social media showing the FPA State Director, NSW/ACT engaging in behaviour that is clearly inappropriate and not aligned with our values," De Gori said.
"We do not condone the behaviour or the substance abuse implied in the video and firmly uphold our values of professionalism, respect and integrity."
De Gori said the behavior displayed in the video did not align with the association's values, and he confirmed that an investigation had been opened.
